I. Terms & Conditions Regarding CE Wine Tours’ Services

Prices, Reservations and Payments
You can reserve a trip at any time before the tour starts by paying a deposit of approximately 1/2 the total cost of the requested trip. The remaining balance (including discounts or additional fees) is due on the day the trip begins. In exceptional cases and by mutual agreement, payment of the balance due may be made upon completion of the trip. Payment may be made by bank transfer, or by credit card (by phone). Clients must advise CE WINE TOURS about important details such as phone numbers and email address to be used in case of emergency, any dates of travel beyond those booked with CE WINE TOURS, and contact details and dates for all accommodation or alternate travel agencies (where applicable), and / or other details which may result in the complication, interruption, or cancellation of purchased services.

Inclusions and Exclusions on Tour

All tours (Except Prague wine-tasting) include transportation from the start of the activity continuing to its planned conclusion, accompanying guide, and reserved visits and wine-tastings commensurate with the theme of the purchased tour. Tours outside of Prague, in addition to the aforementioned items, include a guide who is also a licensed conductor of up to 9-person vehicles, vehicle and gas, highway fees, and food and lodging for the guide. Assistance in reserving hotels and meals for the duration of the purchased tour are also included in price. Should a client desire CE Wine Tours to book rooms for the tour, CE Wine Tours will request the client’s credit card information to reserve the room(s). This credit card information is not retained by CE Wine Tours for any purposes other than those purposes agreed upon by CE Wine Tours and the client (Namely hotel reservations). After the execution of those purposes, credit card information is not retained and CE Wine Tours immediately and securely disposes of said information.

Excluded from the tour prices are guest lodging and meals for the duration of the tour, and any private expenses incurred on the tour. Clients are responsible for the costs and payments associated with these items.

ETIAS and Passport Information

For many non-European Union citizens who do not need visas to enter most of Europe, including US citizens, the European Union will require an ETIAS application, starting some time in early 2025. An ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) approval will be necessary to enter the European Union and almost all of Europe. Fortunately, the application and approval process can be done on-line before one’s arrival in Europe. While many approvals are processed in minutes, an applicant’s specific situation can extend the application process by as much as a month; therefore, apply for the ETIAS early in your holiday planning. A €7 fee is charged for the processing of this approval. Once successfully completed, the ETIAS approval is linked to your valid passport for three years. If you change your passport during this three-year period, you will have to renew your ETIAS approval. More comprehensive info may be found on the official ETIAS website: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en.

U.S. passport holders are not required to have a visa for most destinations we offer (unless otherwise stipulated). For non-U.S. citizens, visa and other travel documents may be required. A minimum of 6 months validity for client’s passport beyond the trip dates is required.

It is the client’s responsibility to obtain all necessary documents before making the reservation, and we cannot be held liable for any claims, losses, damages, delays, expenses, of any kind whatsoever, to you or your traveling companions resulting from situations where visa or other required documents are not valid or sufficient.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Please note that CE WINE TOURS will not hold any client reservation without prior deposit. To ensure that services, booking of vehicles, guides and lodging which must be confirmed in writing upon reception and approval of CE WINE TOURS proposalcan be guaranteed, a deposit of approximately 1/2 of the total cost of services will be required, and must be received no later than 14 days from reception of CE WINE TOUR’s written offer. In the event that a offer is requested within 30 days of requested travel services, deposit is due immediately (by approved Credit Card transaction or transfer) upon reception and approval of offered terms. Failure to make a deposit payment when it is due will be considered a cancellation, and all arrangements and bookings of lodging and services will be terminated. Deposit payments are nonrefundable, under any circumstances; however, the dates of travel may be adjusted, provided more than 30 days notice in advance of date of travel, and subject to availability. Adjustments to dates of travel, or any terms of proposed services, up to 30 days before the date of travel, will also be subject to a 75€ adjustment fee. All purchased services are 100% nonrefundable after arrival. Special event tickets are also nonrefundable immediately after purchase.

All cancellations and claims must be submitted in writing (preferably email) and must be signed (or sent, in case of email) by the person who made the original reservation. Cancellations are only effective from the day they are actually received by us. All original supplemental documents such as hospital documents, death certificates which may be required if refund is requested, must be submitted together with your statement – written explanation of all the details and facts related to your case. If you cancel your tour, cancellation fees and penalties will be deducted from your refund.

There is no refund if you arrive late for a tour, or if you leave early; nor is there any refund for meals or services which are voluntarily refused during the tour. CE WINE TOURS cannot assume responsibility for any additional expenses such as non-refundable air tickets, extra hotel nights, additional transportation, personal items, etc. It is advisable to arrange a travel insurance which would cover the cancellation of your trip.

Price in Euros

CE WINE TOUR prices are listed here in EUROS; however, prices are based on the cost of goods and services in local currencies. Thus, we reserve the right to adjust these prices, from reception of offer to delivery of services, based on fluctuations in the currency exchange rate exceeding 5% of the Czech National Bank middle rate.

Czech entities will be charged in Czech crowns, based on the Czech National Bank middle rate on the day of invoicing.
